Klasse have recently supplied KlasseCLAD™ into the new £100m Lidl distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol.

Lidl's new distribution centre is their biggest ever - receiving, storing and delivering every item they sell in their stores.
KlasseCLAD™ is being used within the new centre, as a modern, advanced and economical alternative insulation for replacement of mastics, glass fibre cloth, butyl sheeting, and other types of insulation materials.
Further to this, Klasse take pride in the testing of products to the official BS476 parts 6 & 7, Class ‘0’ standard, which ensures that the KlasseCLAD™ is Fire Retardant in extreme situations.
With a range of colours and finishes available, the KlasseCLAD™ is suitable for both indoor & outdoor applications.
Three fun facts about the new centre:
- The racks in the centre, stacked end to end, would stand 29 times the height of the Empire State Building.
- The main roof is designed to drain more than 7,000 litres of rainwater per second. At this rate, it will would take only 5 minutes and 54 seconds to fill an Olympic size swimming pool.
- The structure contains 3,500 tonnes of steel - enough to make more than 20,000 shopping trolleys.
