Klasse Group are delighted to be involved with the new £13m Siemens Global Service Operations Centre in Lincoln, which opened in April 2018.
The project has been ongoing for a brief 11 months, fitting out the high-tech facility, which will manage parts and services to support the global Siemens network.
Klasse take pride in the testing of products to the official BS476 parts 6 & 7, Class ‘0’ standard, which ensures that the KlasseCLAD™ is Fire Retardant in extreme situations.
Siemens is the first company to use the LEO locative robot, helping to improve productivity. LEO works by following a track around the factory using a barcode system on the floor to determine where to go, where to stop and when to sound its horn as it crosses the forklift truck area.
Klasse are enthused to support a company whose advanced technology will assist their employees in increasing productivity.
KlasseCLAD™ is an advanced and economical alternative insulation for replacement of mastics, glass fibre cloth, butyl sheeting, and other types of insulation materials. It is the product of choice for new and upcoming developments.
Neil Corner, Managing Director of Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery said:
“We’re pleased to have built a new state of the art facility for our employers to work in which also is sustainable and has strong environmental credentials."
